Faculty Exhibition

Cape Fear Community College’s (CFCC) Wilma W. Daniels Gallery is excited to announce the 2023 Faculty Art Exhibition. The exhibit will run from Tuesday, November 7, 2023, to Friday, January 12, 2024. This annual exhibition highlights the talent of CFCC’s visual arts faculty in the areas of painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, mixed media, and ceramics. 

Participating CFCC faculty members include Topher Alexander, Ben Billingsley, Geoff Calabrese, Rick Conn, Zac Duff, Matthew French, Jessica Gaffney, Jen Mace, Victoria Paige, Abby Spangel Perry, Deborah O’Rourke Quinn, Janet Richardson, Beth Senger, and Sharon Wozniak Spencer.

Throughout the exhibition run, the community will have several opportunities to meet the artists and learn more about the inspiration behind their artwork. All events will occur at the Wilma W. Daniels Gallery (200 Hanover Street, Wilmington).

  • Opening Reception: Friday, November 10, 2023, 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. 
  • Artist Talk: Thursday, November 16, 2023, 12:00 p.m. 
  • Fourth Friday Reception: Friday, November 24, 2023, 6:00 – 9:00 p.m.
  • Fourth Friday Reception: Friday, December 22, 2023, 6:00 – 9:00 p.m.
  • Artist Talk: Wednesday, January 10, 2024, 12:00 p.m. 

“CFCC is excited to celebrate the artistic talents of our dedicated faculty members through this exhibition,” said Jim Morton, CFCC President. “We are so fortunate to have such dedicated and talented instructors share their talents and passion for all art methods with our students.”
