The Wilma Daniels Gallery on the campus of Cape Fear Community College will host an exhibition of art made during the 2024 NO BOUNDARIES International Artist’s Residency. Each year, the residency invites artists to gather for a two week residency on Bald Head Island, NC with the goal of joining in an uninterrupted communal art-making experience. This year’s chosen artists are Renato Abbate (Wilmington, NC), Wafa Alsleem (Saudi Arabia), Sarah Collier (Wilmington, NC), Phil Covington (Wilmington, NC), Madison Creech (Wilmington,NC), Michele Del Campo (Italy), Anne Mc Combie (Wilmington, NC), Guillermo Oyaquez Montero (Spain), Rena Powell (Southport, NC), and Martha Thorn (Raleigh, NC). The art made at the residency will be shown in an exhibition at the Wilma W. Daniels Gallery from January 20th through February 27th, 2024 with an Opening Reception Saturday January 20, 2024 from 6PM- 9PM.
